As a leading knowledge-sharing platform, OnFrontiers takes the protection of customer data very seriously. As a measure of the company’s ongoing focus on data security, OnFrontiers is pleased to announce that we have successfully completed the AICPA System & Organization Controls (SOC 2) Type 2 audit and are compliant at the highest level.

“As a knowledge sharing platform, our greatest priority is the privacy and security of our platform and customer data,” said company CEO Brian Caouette. “At OnFrontiers, we are committed to meeting the highest standards of security, to provide a knowledge-sharing environment in which our customers can be confident. We integrate privacy and data security into everything we do, and our successful completion of the SOC 2 audit demonstrates our continued dedication to achieving and verifying excellence in this area.”

SOC 2 is considered by many as the gold standard for security compliance for SaaS companies. The SOC 2 Type 2 audit is performed over a period of six months by an independent third-party auditing firm, that assesses and confirms company compliance in the following areas:

Security– The system is protected against unauthorized access, both physical and logical.

Availability– The system is available for operation and use as committed or agreed.

Confidentiality– Information designated as confidential is protected as committed or agreed.

Privacy– Personal information is collected, used, retained, disclosed and destroyed in conformity with the commitments in the company’s privacy notice and with the criteria set forth in Generally Accepted Privacy Principles (GAPP).

Certification of SOC 2 Type 2 compliance builds on OnFrontiers’ 2020 SOC 2 Type 1 compliance certification and is another way that OnFrontiers is fulfilling its commitment to first-class customer data security.
