Startup CEO and Advisor to Tech Companies in the US

CEO and co-founder of Pingpad, serial entrepreneur and advisor to startups, accelerators and venture funds. Most of my advisory work is on product strategy, go-to-market, business development and capital formation. My background includes 15 years working with mid-to-large enterprises on collaboration and innovation strategy and implementation.

Pingpad is Collaborative Product Discovery, solving the #1 problem for product management, how to discover and prioritize customer problems. Previously, drove the acquisition of SlideShare by LinkedIn for $120M. At SlideShare I ran business development, product sales and marketing, and was a board observer. At LinkedIn I was a Product Manager. Co-founded Socialtext, the social enterprise collaboration pioneer , acquired by PeopleFluent, and created the Enterprise 2.0 category. Co-founded RateXchange, a B2B bandwidth exchange. Began my career in the non-profit and public sectors.
Questions I can answer:
What's the best product and distribution strategy for my startup?
For a potential investment or acquisition, what's the team, product and market risk?
How can we go-to-market effectively and become leaders in a category we define?
